The internet now accounts for roughly 4% of global CO₂ emissions, more than every commercial flight in the world combined (The Shift Project, 2019). The number keeps climbing, and most businesses have never measured what their own corner of it costs.
Hidden carbon costs
The average web page emits around 0.5g of CO₂ per visit (WebsiteCarbon.com, 2024). A thousand monthly visitors quietly burn the same carbon as a 3.5km drive. Every month, without anyone noticing.
Performance penalties
Bloated sites push users away, sink in search rankings, and cost more to host every month. Page weight and carbon travel together. So do bounce rate and lost revenue.

Our founder
I'm Adrianna, and I started The Trinity Tribe because sustainability kept getting bolted on as an afterthought. A green badge here, a leaf icon there, while the digital products underneath kept burning through energy and user attention.
We work from a single principle, Living System Design. Every decision, from font choice to server location, gets tested against one question: does this serve the people using it without costing the planet more than it gives back? When a project needs depth we don't have in-house, we bring in the right specialist for the work.

What is Living System Design?
Living System Design is how we build digital products that work like healthy ecosystems: efficient, connected, and self-sustaining. Instead of treating a website as a static deliverable, we map the whole system, including workflows, data, user journeys, and environmental footprint. The result performs better, costs less to run, and has a measurably lower carbon impact.
What does "solarpunk" mean for a website?
Solarpunk rejects the idea that good technology and a healthy planet are in conflict. For us, that means every technical decision, from hosting region to asset format to code structure, gets weighed against both performance and environmental cost. A solarpunk site isn't one that looks green. It's one that actually is, verified by independent tools like WebsiteCarbon.com.
How long does a typical project take?
Pioneer projects (from €4,500) usually run four to eight weeks from audit to handover, depending on scope. Visionary projects (from €12,000) run ten to sixteen weeks and pull in a specialist team. Every project starts with the Living System Audit, which fixes the scope, timeline, and price before any build begins.
Do I need the €500 audit before a project starts?
Yes. The audit is how we understand your system before we build anything for it. The €500 is credited in full toward your project fee, so if you move forward, there's no extra cost. We don't work from briefs alone. We need to see how your operation actually runs.
Can I get a fixed-price quote before the audit?
Honestly, no. A fixed quote without seeing the system is either padded with a hefty risk buffer or based on a guess. The audit gives you a precise proposal with a defined scope, so you know exactly what you're getting before you commit to a build.
What does the Living System Audit include?
A baseline carbon and performance measurement of your current digital presence, a workflow map showing inefficiencies and automation wins, a written report, and a 30-minute call to walk through everything together. You leave with a full picture of your system and a precise proposal, whether or not you decide to keep working with us.
Do you offer revisions, and what happens after launch?
Revision rounds are scoped in the proposal and depend on the tier. After launch, Pioneer projects come with a structured handover and documentation, so you can run the product on your own with confidence. Visionary projects can include a Stewardship retainer for ongoing system work. We don't disappear at delivery.
Who actually builds the product?
Adrianna leads strategy and design on every project. Build work runs through a trusted network of specialists, including developers, copywriters, and sustainability consultants, picked per project for the scope at hand. You get a focused team without the overhead of a large agency.
Do you work with agencies or only direct clients?
